As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, Hanlon Avenue at Connaught Avenue will be closed temporarily to vehicular traffic. Pedestrians and cyclists will not be impacted.
What
Closure of Hanlon Avenue is necessary to install catch basins. Connaught Avenue just south of Hanlon will be reduced to a single lane only to install curbs. Flaggers will be present to facilitate the flow of traffic.

Anticipated Impacts
Excavators, vac trucks, compactors, concrete trucks, and backhoes will be used for construction. Noise from equipment will be audible and some equipment may cause vibrations.
Motorists should adhere to, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
The safety of the public and workers is paramount, and we thank you for your patience during construction.
