As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, crews and equipment will be working overnight in the Lincoln Fields, Carling Avenue, and Connaught Park areas including along the Transitway.

Night work may include: excavation and hauling, concrete pouring, grading, utility installation, and lane closures.
KEV anticipates that periodic night work will be required and ongoing throughout 2024. Night work will occur subject to a valid noise by-law exemption, in addition to daytime activities on weekdays and weekends. Night work will take place Monday to Saturday 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Work on Sundays and Statutory holidays will occur, as required, through September 2024.
All construction vehicles and equipment, working overnight will be equipped with broadband back-up alarms. Trucks use approved haul routes and workers and contractors park in designated parking areas.
Site lighting for overnight is required to maintain safe working conditions for workers. Light plants, generators and compressors are placed onsite and as far away from neighbouring homes to the extent possible.
Dust control will be in place, as needed. Street sweeping, and cleaning will be ongoing along truck routes and around construction zones.
All pedestrian, cycling, bus, and vehicular movements will generally be maintained during construction, with some detours. Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution when localized detours are in place and adhere to all posted signage, when travelling to ensure safety, as patterns may have changed.
