A Noise By-law exemption in relation to the following construction activity has been approved:
What: Construction noise associated with excavators, wheel loaders, tri-axle trucks and a rock truck for the installation of a mainline trunk sewer
Where: Along the Arnprior-Nepean Railway (parallel to the Arnprior Nepean Railway in the NCC Greenbelt)
When: Consecutive nights between April 8, 2019 to July 31, 2019 from 22:00 to 07:00
Conditions: The noise exemption has been granted with the following conditions:
- Construction noise not exceeding 85 dBA when measured at the point of reception
- This exemption does not apply to night work on Herzberg Road
- This work will occur in the Greenbelt and as a result, no residences will be impacted
