My office has received several inquiries regarding the Federal Government’s “grocery rebate” that was announced as part of Budget 2023, the Government of Canada introduced a Grocery Rebate to provide financial support to eligible Canadians. This Rebate was scheduled to be issued on July 5.
As noted the New Grocery Rebate is a federal program not municipal. Should residents have specific questions or concerns related to this program I encourage you to contact the local Member of Parliament
