Recognize the importance of National Housing Day with MULTIFAITH Housing Initiative.
Marimba Players will be gracing us with performances, and we will learn about MHI’s lates projects from Executive Director, Suzanne Le. Because this is an interfaith prayer celebration, we will hear from the Indigenous Grandmother Irene Compton (cofounder of Minwaashin Lodges and an opening prayer from Rabbi Idan Scher, Congregation Machzikei Hadas. Our keynote soeakers Rabbi Blum and Dr. Aisha Sherazi.
The event is free to attend and takes place at Sir John A MacDonald Building from 3:00 PM to 5 PM. You do not need to RSVP to this event, but you are welcome to RSVP on Facebook to ensure you have it in your social calendar.
Plese note that this is a federal government building. You will be required by security to show your personal identification and to go through a metal detector to enter the event. Please give yourself plenty of time to go through security.
