Famous 5 Ottawa offers a mentorship program aimed at empowering young women to develop the skills needed for career development and advancement.
Through mentoring and coaching, Famous 5 believes young women belong at the front of the room, and not just as organizers behind the scenes. The Committee organizes the Enbridge Speakers Series honouring women as nation builders. Each mentee has the opportunity to introduce the woman, or panel of women, being honoured as nation builders at an event throughout the year. Famous 5 Ottawa is planning an exciting 2021 speaker series.
We are currently seeking applications to fill three mentorship spots for 2021.
Successful candidates will receive a scholarship, presentation & public speaking coaching, and connect with members of Famous 5 Ottawa for guidance and advice.
We are interested in hearing from young women of all backgrounds under the age of 35, within the first five years of their careers, who have been involved in the National Capital Region community, and are passionate about the values and mandate of Famous 5.
