On Sunday, November 24, 2024 at 7 PM, the McKellar Park Community Association is holding its Annual General Meeting at the McKellar Park Field House, 539 Wavell Ave. We hope that residents will come and hear what your community association has been doing this past year as well as what activities and challenges we envision for the coming year. We will be reviewing and hopefully passing new bylaws to keep us in compliance with the Ontario Not For Profit Corporations Act. We will be voting on a new board for the coming year. Councillor Theresa Kavanagh will give us an update on what is happening in the ward and at City Hall. We’ll have an update on the New Ottawa Official Plan process and what changes we anticipate within McKellar Park Community. If you live within the MPCA’s boundaries, please come and support your community association in its efforts to make our community as good as it can be. Our blog has a copy of the draft by laws for your perusal as well and will have any new information about this meeting.
