The “masks required” signs have been removed. They were installed to reflect the OPH Class 22 Order requiring masks on designated playground amenities. That Order expired May 25th and the Ministry of Health decided that it would not be renewed.
Though OPH still recommends masks when distancing cannot be maintained, it no longer requires them. The signs were removed since the authority behind the requirement no longer exists. The signs on park amenity closures have also been removed, since last week’s Provincial announcement removed the closure requirements under Reg 82/20.
