March 11, 2024 will mark four years since the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a global pandemic. In March of 2021 Prime Minister Justin Trudeau declared March 11 a National Day of Observance in Canada to commemorate the people who lost their lives and the significant impacts that the virus has had on each of us.
March 11 is also a day to acknowledge the tremendous resilience and sacrifices of the people in our community, and to express our gratitude to all the health care and essential workers who tirelessly, and fearlessly supported the front lines throughout the pandemic.
