Supporting summer camp for more patients and families
This year marks the 2nd Incredible Kidney Quest event. Starting June 3rd through to June 12th the Kidney Foundation of Canada presents a family friendly scavenger hunt that takes participants around the community completing missions and competing with others across the province for prizes. Participants can complete it all in one day or the course of the nice days.
This year the Quest will have a Camp theme. Through a special FUND A NEED component of this initiative they will raise important funds to make summer camp a reality for more patients and families. Taking time away for a vacation is nearly impossible for 75% of Canadians living with kidney disease who need to attend life-sustaining treatment three times a week in a hospital or clinic. That’s why camp programs are so important.
