Anyone who knows me knows I love to bike. I bike through the community to get to events and meet with residents. I even bike to City Hall when I need to attend a council meeting. Let’s Bike Month, formerly Bike to Work Month, is a campaign that encourages and celebrates cycling. The City of Ottawa continues its partnership with EnviroCentre to promote active transportation and encourage residents to travel by bicycle.
EnviroCentre is offering a series of workshops and events during Let’s Bike Month. These are free to attend but registration is required. Participants will also have a chance to win prizes that have been donated by local businesses. Sign up by creating an account on letsbike.ca before or during the contest period and log your bike trips on the website during Let’s Bike Month.
