This week was Emergency Preparedness Week, a national event sponsored by Public Safety Canada which encourages Canadians to understand risks in their environment and to learn actions they can take to protect themselves and their families.
In light of last year’s derecho, and the recent ice storm in April, Hydro Ottawa has prepared a number of bilingual resources on emergency preparedness that they will be sharing on our various channels, over the next few days and beyond.
