I had the pleasure and privilege of providing greetings on behalf of Mayor Sutcliffe at a Holi celebration held by the Vishva Shakti Durga Mandir Association at Ron Kolbus Lakeside Gardens last Friday evening. Holi is a Hindu festival that celebrates spring, love, and new life. The evening was filled with music and lots of beautiful colours which was very appropriate given that Holi is also known as the “festival of colours”
