As we approach the holiday season, we embrace the warmth and joy that comes with celebrating various cultural and religious traditions. For eight days we turn our attention to Hanukkah, which officially started on December 7th, the Festival of Lights, a special time for reflection, community, and the illumination of hope. Hanukkah carries a universal message about the power of light in the face of darkness. As our Jewish community celebrates this, let us reflect on the values of compassion, kindness, and unity that bind us all together.
