Royal Canadian Legion received approval of a fly-past to take place during the National Remembrance Day Ceremonies on Monday November 11th, 2024
The fly-past plan will be as follows:
- The fly-past will take place over the National War Memorial and will involve 3 vintage military aircrafts on November 11th at 11:30 am.
- The aircraft will approach from the North, travelling southbound over the National War Memorial.
The City of Ottawa supports the Royal Canadian Legion’s request to conduct a fly-past by the Royal Canadian Air Force Aircrafts and acknowledges that the aircrafts will operate no lower than 500 feet above ground level in accordance with Transport Canada regulations.
