The main section of the Britannia Winter Trail (BTW) from Carling Ave to the Parkway will be lit with 400 paper lanterns and tealights. The BWT Team encourages trail users to come out to ski with head lights to help “light up the trail with love” from 7-8pm.
The BTW Team is looking for 8 volunteers from 6:30-8:30pm on Feb 14th who can work in pairs to set up and light the paper lanterns along a section of the trail from 6:30-7pm and who will then ski along the main trail to ensure no one is messing with the lanterns and to keep them lit and then clean up the lanterns at 8pm from the section they set up).
Without your support and donations the trail cannot exist.
