Sports Day the Girls’ Way

ON FRIDAY, JUNE 14, the OSEG Foundation in partnership with the City of Ottawa and Fast & Female are inviting 500 young sports leaders of tomorrow to take part in Sports Day the Girl’s Way at TD Place. Along with hearing from high profile speakers, participants will have the chance to take part in a number of sports-focused workshops. With a theme of CONFIDENCE, sessions will focus on sport and physical activity, peer connections, fun and empowerment with mentorship from recreation or sport leaders in the community as well as Fast and Female Athlete Ambassadors.

Fast and Female is a non-for-profit organization led in Canada by cross-country skiing Olympic gold medalist Chandra Crawford. The organization’s mission is to keep girls healthy and active in sports, while envisioning a world where all girls will have positive, empowering experiences in sports.

THE EVENT IS INCLUSIVE OF ALL STUDENTS with the content focused on girls in grades 4 to 8. In order to secure your tickets, please fill out the online registration form and be sure to confirm the number of tickets you would like.
