Solid Waste Master Plan – We want to hear form you!

Developing the Solid Waste Master Plan will take a couple of years. Once finalized, the Plan will guide how waste is managed in Ottawa over the next 30 years. Staff have worked on the project for months. Now it is time to consult with residents, community groups and many different stakeholders. Your input will help the City create a long-term, environmentally and financially responsible strategy for our municipal waste.
Check out the Solid Waste Master Plan project page on Engage Ottawa, the City’s interactive web platform. It offers lots of background and practical information on waste management practices and challenges. Feedback tools will allow you to have your say, and you’ll hear about upcoming public consultation opportunities.
No matter how you choose to engage, we look forward to hearing from you.
