Bayshore Park Harvest Fair & Pizza Palooza

Are you or someone you know a budding amateur pizza baker?
Our 5th annual Pizza baking contest is to open to all Ottawa residents. We have a 6 spots available at the fire-fed Outdoor Oven in Bayshore. You will have a chance to win amazing prizes and bragging rights!
This contest is a fun event. Come out and show your creative pizza making skills. Dessert pizzas are welcome!
Your pizza will be judged by Councillor Therea Kavanagh, Andrea Flowers, and Janet Thanda – see bios below

Time: 1:30 – 2:30pm is the Adult Amateur Pizza Contest (Harvest Fair 12:00pm – 4:00pm)

Judging Panel for Pizza Contest at Harvest Fair and Pizza Palooza
Theresa Kavanagh is your City Councillor here in Bay Ward. Theresa has joined several community bakes and been a long-time supporter of Bayshore Community Oven since starting with her trusteeship at Ottawa-Carleton District School Board.
Andrea Flowers had the pleasure of working with the original Bayshore Community Bake Oven team more than five years ago to design and build the oven. At the time she worked for the City of Ottawa Neighborhood Connection Office. She now has the privilege of leading the City’s Climate Change and Resiliency team.
Janet Muria is an honours graduate from Algonquin College in Culinary Management and the founder of Save Community Kitchen. Inspired by local ingredients and fresh flavours, Chef Janet infuses her dishes with love and creativity, and has a passion in teaching the community about the importance of nutrition and a well-balanced diet.
