On Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2, free of charge, you will have access to nearly 130 buildings across Ottawa, including 10 sites that were not included last year. This is your opportunity for a behind-the-scenes look at:
- government buildings
- research facilities
- heritage buildings
- artists’ studios
- places of worship
- embassies and high commissions
From Carp to Cumberland, more than 80,000 visitors will explore some of the city’s most interesting places. Some highlights this year include:
- The Algonquin College DARE district
- The National Arts Centre
- The Official Residence of the Embassy of Denmark
- Ottawa Paramedic Service Headquarters
- Ottawa Police Service Professional Development Centre
- Select Ottawa fire stations

Take the shuttle
There will be a free, accessible OC Transpo shuttle bus, and you can access nearly 50 participating buildings from the eight stops along the shuttle loop. It’s a great way to reach a wide choice of amazing facilities quickly, without your own vehicle. The shuttle schedule is different each day and you can find details through the event website.
