Please be advised that the NCC has provided approval to continue with the removals of trees within Lincoln Fields, primarily the crab-apple orchard north of Lincoln Fields Station. The consortium has scheduled Tuesday, December 17th for the removals approximately within the orange area in Image 1 below.
In response to community interest the consortium has confirmed that they will preserve 1/3 of the crab-apple orchard as well as the grove of English White Oak trees towards the west of the station (indicated in image 1 below).
