Ottawa Public Health wants everyone to have a safe & happy prom
It’s prom and graduation season! As more public health measures have been lifted, it’s important to remember however that COVID-19 is still present in Ottawa. There is still the risk of transmission, and some individuals experience more severe outcomes from COVID-19.
Spending time with family and friends is important for your mental health, so if you are planning to gather with others, continue to assess your individual risk and the risk of those with whom you plan to gather. Ottawa Public Health (OPH) has added a new section to their Supporting Schools webpage on being COVID safe during these momentous occasions and gatherings. For more information you can visit the OPH web site here.
