As there is a growing need for parks closure signage that is all-inclusive and interpretive in all languages, city staff have created the universal pictogram shown below.
This pictogram will be used in conjunction with the existing parks closure signage, also shown below as a reminder. Rather than printing and posting the new signage in parks, the City will communicate the new pictogram via social media and the web. The City recognizes that many residents do not have access to the internet at this time and would not see the updated pictogram if solely posted online; therefore, the City has connected with the Human Needs Task Force, who have offered to distribute and communicate the pictogram to community groups, resources and partners, to share with the broader community.
