On Wednesday November 30 during the Ottawa City Council meeting Wendy Stephanson, the City’s Chief Financial Officer, was appointed as the Interim City Manager, after Steve Kanellakos announced he would be stepping down as City Manager effective Monday, November 28. In addition, the 2022-2026 Governance Review report was tabled at the meeting. The report recommends the Committee structure for the 2022-2026 Term of Council and includes amendments to various policies, by-laws and procedures. Council will consider and adopt the report at its next meeting, on Wednesday, December 7.
