Who: The City of Ottawa has retained the Contractor, Clean Water Works, to complete the work.
Why: The sewer requires rehabilitation due to its age and condition.
What: Work involves sewer rehabilitation using a Cured-In-Place repair process. This is a No-Dig rehabilitation technique minimizing inconveniences usually associated with conventional road and sewer excavation work. The site work is not a continuous operation. Periodic visits by the contractor and their crews will be required starting now through to completion. Clean Water Works has retained DST Consulting Engineers to perform a pre-construction survey of homes in the construction area and may perform this survey on your property. The Contractor will provide you with a letter if a pre-construction survey is required.
When: The Contractor may begin pre-construction investigations as early as January 2019. Construction work could begin in late winter or spring 2019. Duration is expected to be approximately 5 days. Depending on when construction begins, completion could be as late as early fall 2019.
Where: The sanitary sewer is located on Carling Avenue between Greenview Avenue and Ritchie Street.
