We have experienced some pretty cold temperatures over the past month. While many of us can appreciate the warmth and comfort of our home’s during these days there are many vulnerable residents who aren’t as lucky and need to rely on critical services for the support and access to shelter.
On February 26th I will be participating in an event called The Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY), a fundraising walk that supports local charity partners who provide essential care and service for people experiencing homelessness, hurt, and hunger. This year I walk in support of Cornerstone Housing for Women an agency who provide emergency shelter and safe, supportive, permanent housing for all vulnerable women in Ottawa.
