On July 26, repairs were completed and the bridge was reopened to allow the community to continue enjoying the conservation area. Please note that these repairs are temporary and further work will need to be completed in the future
In April 2021, following an inspection which revealed significant structural failures on the Mud Lake bridge, the National Capital Commission closed the bridge for health and safety reasons.
