The flags at all City of Ottawa sites will be lowered to half-mast on Sunday, September 24 to recognize Police and Peace Officers’ National Memorial Day. This day is observed to remember the brave individuals who have sacrificed their lives in the line of duty to keep our communities safe.
Canadian Police and Peace Officers’ Memorial Service to be held on Parliament Hill. The Service will commence at 11am, and last approximately one hour concluding with a March Past the Headdress of recently fallen officers. For more information you can visit here.
