The City’s beaches Mooney’s Bay, Britannia and Petrie Island will be open for supervised swimming from 11 am to 7 pm starting June 18 until August 28, 2022 inclusively. Washrooms will be open for the season until September 5, 2022 inclusively.
Accessible Water Wheel Chairs
Did you know that the City offers beach accessible water wheel chairs ? There are eight chairs in total. Two chairs are allocated at each beach site. This year, because Westboro beach is closed an additional one will be provided to Mooneys Bay and Petrie where there has been the highest demand.
