I am excited to announce a new addition to a 1.5km portion of the Carling Avenue multi-use pathway to the winter clearing route in Bay Ward!
Some of you may have already noticed, but the multi-use pathway on Carling Avenue between Dick Bell Park and Ulswater is now being plowed in winter!
In the past, I’ve had many residents reach out about this stretch of Carling Avenue and express their desire for this section to be cleared of snow to improve access to the park and enable people a safe route to DND headquarters. Working with staff, we have been able to include this important portion into the winter plowing network. It’s a small change, but one that will have a big impact on the neighbourhood and the ward.
