On Tuesday, November 14th, the Transit Commission will be examining bus route changes. Attached is the report to committee.
Subject matter – Report to Committee (escribemeetings.com)
Further to this report and after discussions with OC Transpo staff I was able to confirm the following for Bay Ward:
- Route 51 – Would remain on the same route as today, serving Britannia Village and Carling (Lincoln Fields-Carlingwood)
- Route 87 – Would remain on the same route as today
- Route 153 – The part of this route between Lincoln Fields and Carlingwood would remain as today, including service on Ambleside and on McEwen. (The part of Route 153 east of Woodroffe to Tunney’s Pasture would be removed, replaced by parts of other routes.)
OC Transpo has stated that their goal is to have 99.5% reliability. I know that is what riders expect. Buses need to be there at their posted times. The bus changes and the OC Transpo budget will be presented to members of the Transit Commission on Tuesday, November 14th at 9:30am.
