Do you know an individual or group that volunteers their time in our community?
We want to celebrate, the people who make a difference in the lives of residents living in Bay Ward, on September 26th at our Volunteer Appreciation and Welcome to Fall event at Ron Kolbus Lakeside Centre. Here is your chance to shine a light on someone you think should be recognized for their selfless efforts. Please send your submission along with a brief summary of the person or group you would like to nominate to bayward@ottawa.ca with the subject line “Volunteer Appreciation” no later than September 21.
The event will begin at 7pm when guests have the opportunity to visit a variety of information tables hosted by some of our City services and local partners who will have information on hand to share about what they do and the resources that are available to residents. The recognition ceremony will start at 7:45pm. We will be offering light refreshments. A link will be sent out shortly where residents can RSVP their attendance.
