Hello,
As part of its emerald ash borer management strategy, the National Capital Commission (NCC) will be removing over 525 ash trees affected by the emerald ash borer, which are located along the Greenbelt Pathway West between Carling Avenue and Corkstown Road in the western Greenbelt. Dead trees of other species may also be removed to improve access and allow for a safe work environment for the crew undertaking the work.
The work will be undertaken from March 25 to 31, 2019, between 7 am and 5 pm, weather permitting. The work will require temporary closure of pathway sections. Signage will be in place, and staff will be on-site to redirect pathway users.
