Following the public meeting hosted by Councillor Kavanagh, the biggest change is that the developer went from 15 parking spots to 18 parking spots and reduced the size of some of the units to accommodate this change.
This is mostly due to the feedback they received from the community about concerns regarding parking on the street.
The developer is still planning on making 6 units affordable. Out of the 14 units (20 units – 6 affordable) the most we will permit per unit (non-affordable housing units) is 1 parking spot, so that will likely result in needing only 14 parking spots.
The remaining will be handicap parking and visitors.
