This year marks the 10th Anniversary of Safer wings Ottawa (SWO) Annual Bird Display.
The display will be held at the Museum of Nature in the Hatch Salon on Thursday, March 14th, 2024 from 5:00 pm to
8:00 pm. Admission to the museum is free on Thursdays after 5:00 pm. This is also SWO’s tenth anniversary
of working to protect local bird populations in Ottawa!
The display will include over 1,100 bird window collisions collected by dedicated Safe Wings Ottawa volunteers patrolling high collision corridors in and around the Ottawa area, as well as those collected by the general public. The birds that will be on display represent but a fraction of the thousands killed by window collisions each year in Ottawa alone.
