Construction has begun on the 2019 West End Small Culverts Replacement Project. The contractor has commenced installation of some traffic control measures. Notices will be sent to residents nearby the culvert site to notify them of the construction work.
Who: The City of Ottawa has retained W.H. MacSweyn to complete the work.
Why: This culvert is at the end of its effective service life.
What: The culvert will be replaced using open-cut construction. Temporary lane closures will be required at the construction site for approximately 1 week. Vehicular traffic will be maintained. Every effort is being made to reduce the duration of the construction impacts in your community.
When: The Corkstown Road culvert work will take place in August/September 2019.
Where: The Corkstown Road culvert is located 0.45 km east of March Road.
