The application for 1299 Richmond Road is being re-circulated for a combined Zoning By-law Amendment and Site Plan Control applications.
The City’s re-circulation notice was sent out in this case because the applications were previously inactive for more than 1 year.

Description of the revised proposal: A high-rise mixed-use development consisting of two towers of 28 and 30 storeys on a 5-storey base podium. The revised proposal includes 588 dwelling units, 734 square metres of commercial space, 6,315 sq m of amenity space, 292 vehicle parking spaces and 583 bicycle parking spaces.
Revisions between the 2023 and 2024 proposal:
- Building heights revised from 32 and 28 storeys to 30 and 28 storeys
- Separation distance between the two towers increased from 21 to 27 metres.
- Base podium height increased from 4 to 5 storeys
- Built form shifted forward towards Richmond Road and westward towards Assaly Road
- An increase in provided vehicle and bicycle parking spaces.
